Drugs Used Aripiprazole , Clozapine, Iloperidone, Ziprasidone, Paliperidone, Lurasidone, Loxapine, Thioridazine, Risperidone, Asenapine, Quetiapine , Trifluoperazine and Bipolar disorder : Bipolar disorder — sometimes called manic-depressive disorder — is associated with mood swings that range from the lows of depression to the highs of mania. Treatment Psychotherapy is aimed at alleviating core symptoms, recognizing episode triggers, reducing negative expressed emotion in relationships, recognizing prodromal symptoms before full-blown recurrence, and, practicing the factors that lead to maintenance of remission. Medications such as lithium and some anti epileptics are also used
Increased nephrotoxicity with ciclosporin, aminoglycosides, amphotericin B, cisplatin, NSAIDs, vancomycin, co-trimoxazole, aciclovir, ganciclovir. Increased risk of hyperkalemia with potassium-sparing diuretics. Increased plasma concentrations and toxicity with azole antifungals, calcium-channel blockers, cimetidine, danazol, HIV-protease inhibitors, macrolide antibacterials and metoclopramide. Antacids, rifampin, rifabutin, casofungin, phenytoin, phenobarbital and carbamazepine decrease tacrolimus plasma concentrations. Concurrent admin of sirolimus and tacrolimus decrease levels of both.
