This medication is available in the form of tablets to take by mouth once a day, with or without food.

Diarrhea : Diarrhea or diarrhœa is the condition of having three or more loose or liquid bowel movements per day. Co-administration of anastrozole and tamoxifen in breast cancer patients reduced anastrozole plasma concentration by 27%. Estrogen-containing therapies should not be used with anastrozole as they may diminish its pharmacological action.
