It is available as a tablet and as a disintegrating tablet taken orally. It is usually taken once a day at bedtime, with or without food.
Oral: Store it at 15-30°C. Protect from light and moisture.

Schizophrenia : Schizophrenia is a mental disorder characterized by a breakdown in thinking and poor emotional responses. Common symptoms include delusions, such as paranoia; hearing voices or noises that are not there; disorganized thinking; a lack of emotion and a lack of motivation. Drugs Used Aripiprazole , Clozapine, Iloperidone, Ziprasidone, Paliperidone, Lurasidone, Loxapine, Thioridazine, Risperidone, Asenapine, Quetiapine , Trifluoperazine and Bipolar disorder : Bipolar disorder — sometimes called manic-depressive disorder — is associated with mood swings that range from the lows of depression to the highs of mania. Treatment Psychotherapy is aimed at alleviating core symptoms, recognizing episode triggers, reducing negative expressed emotion in relationships, recognizing prodromal symptoms before full-blown recurrence, and, practicing the factors that lead to maintenance of remission. Medications such as lithium and some anti epileptics are also used
Potentiation of sedative effects with alcohol or benzodiazepines. Increased plasma levels with potent CYP3A4 inhibitors Reduced plasma levels with carbamazepine and other inducers of CYP3A4. Increased bioavailability with cimetidine. Potentially Fatal: Do not use with or within 2 wk of stopping an MAOI; at least 1 week should elapse between discontinuing mirtazapine and initiating any drug which may provoke a serious reaction (e.g. phenelzine).
